Research Equipment Rental and Sharing

Depending on the subject you may rely on state of the art research equipment. Most research equipment in medicine and other subjects may be extremely expensive.

However in order to optimise funding several universities and institutions are now offering to share their equipment.

Unfortunately location is an issue, as some universities and institutions may not be prepared to allow their equipment to be moved outside their campus. With other equipment it may not be feasible due to size.

Making  research equipment also available can sometimes be a condition to a grant being offered.
