Do Universities really offer useful Degrees?

Do Universities really offer useful Degrees?

There is an ever increasing number of more specialised undergraduate, postgraduate and executive courses offered by universities and higher education institutions around the world.

Many universities rely heavily on student tuition fees for their income.

However, many key skills will most likely change rapidly within the next years.

Looking back a few years, many degree programs, with a very specific title that were offered only several years ago are not offered any more or have been renamed.

Sometimes there is only a catchy degree course title to the degree, however there is no curriculum or syllabus in the description, nor any further information about who will be teaching.
